Job Description

Do you often visit caniuse.com and wish the web were ready? We're looking for a Senior Frontend Developer who's passionate about designing and building offline-first mobile-first user interfaces for every screen.

You believe the web platform is underutilized and that designing a web experience nowadays is more about how it works than how it looks.

You love Little Big Details, perhaps you enjoy designing micro-interactions more than anything else.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build new user interfaces, often from the ground up
  • Deep involvement in product planning with all stakeholders
  • Measure, diagnose and improve product performance
  • Mentor developers and designers to grow a better UI sense

Skills & Requirements

Requirements

  • Portfolio that you can share, such as a personal website, Github, Dribble, or even better - a shipped product
  • Solid understanding of semantic HTML and CSS3, you do not limit yourself to Bootstrap
  • Familiar with EcmaScript 6, SASS and Less
  • Have running knowledge of interaction design patterns and technology trends
  • You are detail-oriented, not to say perfectionist - OCD welcome

Nice to have

  • Familiar, if not obsessed, with Google Analytics or similar tools
  • Experienced with Karma, Selenium or equivalent testing framework
  • You do not need a SEO 101, you've googled it already
  • Animation or game development experience

Are you ready?

About Company

We’re the guys behind SE Asia’s leading mobile-financial comparison websites: Malaysia's RinggitPlus.com and Indonesia's KreditGoGo.

We also provide awesome Managed Services for Finance companies across APAC. Our clients are some of the biggest names in Banking and Insurance.

On the Back End we're doing some really interesting things with all of your favourite cloud services, mostly using Go lang; and we're creating some neat tools with WebRTC.

On the Front End we're mobile-first all the way. This doesn't mean we pay lip-service to responsiveness with a touch of HTML5, it means we strive to make our web applications feel native, and we know what it takes to deliver a good user experience over a mobile network.

We're a tight-knit team of twelve developers and product people looking to double in size this year. We all absolutely love what we do and consider work like playing with a very big and powerful toy box.

If you don't ever want to stop learning and like to stay ahead of the pack, join us. You'll have fun, get paid for it, and in Malaysia it's always Summer.
